Areas We Serve: Landscaping Across San Luis Obispo County

Paso Robles Landscaping is based at 1345 Riverside Ave in Paso Robles and builds landscapes, hardscape and outdoor living spaces across San Luis Obispo County. The county packs very different conditions into a short drive: hot inland valleys and frosty nights in North County, fog and salt air on the coast, sandy soil on the Nipomo Mesa and around the Five Cities, and different water providers, rebates and permit offices in almost every town. Each page below covers what matters in that community. Call 805-712-4440 or request a free estimate.

Water Providers and Lawn Rebates at a Glance

Who supplies your water decides which rebate, if any, you can get. Programs change and many are first-come, first-served, so always confirm with the agency and get any required pre-inspection before a lawn comes out. More detail on our lawn replacement and rebates page.

Permits Differ by Town

Seven communities on this list are incorporated cities with their own planning and building departments: Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach and Arroyo Grande. Everywhere else, including Templeton, Santa Margarita, Garden Farms, San Miguel, Shandon, Creston, Heritage Ranch, Cambria, Cayucos, Los Osos, Los Ranchos, Avila Beach, Oceano, Nipomo and the Mesa communities, permits go through County Planning & Building. Coastal communities add Coastal Zone review for some projects, rural inland parcels fall under the County Oak Woodland Ordinance, and wildland areas need defensible space. You can check any address on the State Fire Marshal's FHSZ map. We check these rules before your design is final.
